On Air Saturday Live Paul Moran | 12:30pm - 5:00pm

Late Lunch listen again: live from The Cook Shack

Today was the first of our visits to the brilliant Cook Shack bespoke Cookery School in Bride, to pay a visit to gorgeous Georgie Revill. In this episode, she showed us how to make a salmon and asparagus quiche, sweet potato rolls, a herby salad and quick dressing - all using as many local ingredients as possible.

Georgie is running a 'Dishes for the Family' course tomorrow (Weds 24th April) under the expert guidance of nutritional therapist Joanne Posey; there are only a few spaces available, email vivaldicatering@manx.net or call Georgie on 07624 485999. You can also check out the Cook Shack Facebook page here

She also introduced us to fellow foodie Liz from Martha and Molly's , who brought with her an incredible handmade cake and told us about her journey from being a chef to being an independent cake baker. Liz also offers cooking courses in your own home and goes into large businesses on the Island to talk about nutritious cooking and wellbeing - and she runs cookery courses for kids at the Cook Shack.

Also today: we heard what Clarkey and Phil thought of Beth's attempt at speaking in a Manx dialect and were then set the latest Moghrey Jedoonee challenge - the toughest yet by far!

- and Marc's Greatest Hit today was from a group who had one major hit with a Bee Gees-penned single then seemed to 'lose their Marbles' by walking away from the union, never to be heard of again (apart from a minor hit in Holland...)

If you missed any part of the programme you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days and don't forget to check out the various videos on Facebook and Youtube
