Peel-based Welsh accordionist Jamie Smith is our next guest. Jamie is bringing his Welsh trad trio, Alaw to the Island this Saturday to play the Peel Centenary Centre. The band have just been nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Track with their arrangement of Lisa Lan, so this is a gig not to be missed!
