Leonard singer, who is currently Chairman of the Ramsey Music Society tells us about this seasons series of live classical music concerts, is here to tell us about this season’s programme. See the full programme on the Society's website or Facebook page.

Early in the summer, Spotlight went to the world premiere of the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra’s commissioned piece, Five Manx Romances, by composer, Dr Martin Ellerby. We were lucky enough to catch up with the man himself, and discover the magic behind the music.

The music we heard, was Dr Ellerby’s work, Paris Sketches. The commissioned piece, Five Manx Romances is currently in production, but we’ll give it a spin as soon as it becomes available.

Do join me again next Wednesday evening from half past five, or you can find the programme on demand and as a downloadable podcast on the Manx Radio Website. Have a lovely, creative week!
