On Air Feel Good Friday Chris Quirk | 3:00pm - 5:30pm

Moot!

On today’s show we’ll be speaking to James Franklin of Culture Vannin about new and exciting ways in which we can connect with and learn about our native language and culture; and we visit the gorgeous pop-up shop playing host to the Keird Collective, a group of talented young creatives who have come together to offer you a unique, home-grown Christmas shopping experience.

If you’d like to be a guest on the show, or perhaps draw our attention to something creative happening on or off the Island which you’d like to hear us cover, do drop us a line at Spotlight@manxradio.com and if you miss anything today, head to manxradio.com to listen again on demand where you’ll also find our blog, full of links and pictures relating to today’s guests!

First this evening we’re heading back down the road to Culture Vannin Headquarters to speak to a man full of ideas about ways we can enjoy our native Manx culture! Stay up-to-date with cultural goings-on through the Culture Vannin Facebook page, including the Manx Advent Calendar! with artwork by Mary Cousins.

We’re off to do a bit of Christmas shopping now, with the lovely young creatives running a pop-up shop in the Village Walk in Onchan. The Keird Collective are a talented bunch, some of whom, we think you’ll recognise!

Be sure to head up to the village walk in Onchan between Thursday and Sunday this weekend for those last-minute christmas bits!
