Find out more at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bowelcanceriom.org\/\"> their website<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Beth caught up with <strong>Chantal Kingswood<\/strong> and her sister <strong>Vicki<\/strong>, along with<strong> Lynsey Harris<\/strong> from KPMG IOM; who are raising awareness about meningitis with a rally&nbsp;called the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/beepbeeptour\/\">&#39;Beep Beep Tour&#39; <\/a>in memory of Chantal and partner Adam de Silver&#39;s son Reggie who died from the illness last year.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Beep Beep Tour&nbsp;will see teams drive the cheapest car they can find&nbsp;from the south coast of England to the Isle of Man, stopping to complete tasks along the way. The race will finish here&nbsp;on 24 April -&nbsp;World Meningitis Day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>and Christy spoke with exercise&nbsp;physiologist and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitrwoman.com\/\">FitrWoman&rsquo;s<\/a> co-creator, <strong>Dr Georgie Bruinvels<\/strong>. She has set out to help the countless women she has spoken to throughout her research who have felt that their menstrual cycle is a barrier to regular exercise or were unsure whether it was healthy and safe to exercise at certain points in their cycle. Anna Clucas and Faye Christian came in to tell us what would be happening and we were joined on the phone by Richard J Parker who&nbsp;has been&nbsp;a finalist on the BBC programme which inspired this event.<\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n<p>After last year&#39;s success, professional ceramicists Anna and Faye are getting ready for another fun filled 3 days of clay throwing and building.&nbsp; The girls will welcome a class of beginners, improvers and enthusiasts and take them step by step into the building, throwing and shaping of clay.&nbsp; There will also&nbsp;be more fun, challenges and lots of&nbsp;laughter.&nbsp;Three days of clay will run from the 11th May at the Isle of Man Arts Society in Douglas.<\/p>\n\n<p>The workshops are already fully subscribed, but the ceramics community on the Isle of Man is a really welcoming one and if you would like to get in touch and fine out more you can&nbsp;visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1199820886818068\/\">Manx Potters<\/a> Facebook page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>In the final week of Women Today before the exciting launch of our new show next Monday, we are taking a look back at some of the highlights of the past four years.&nbsp; George also recalled his school days (including the time he forgot his precious bike) and his time working at the Steam Packet and then the Merchant Navy where he learned to make his signature bread.<\/p>\n\n<p>He then embarked on a 30 year career as a psychiatric nurse at the former Ballamona Hospital.&nbsp;
