Women Today listen again: Childhood obesity, wonky veg and dubious jokes

On Women Today this afternoon we were joined by the Island's Director of Public Health and two members of her team to discuss her annual report which has revealed some worrying statistics regarding Manx children's weight.  You can find the report here.

We were also joined by Natassja Chadwick who told us about the condition both her children have, which effectively means they are allergic to sunlight.  She is organising a fun day with a difference on September 2nd to raise awareness about their illness.  You can find the details here.

Natassja is also doing a ten-mile run this October to raise money for the British Porphyria Association.  You can support her by clicking this link.

We also talked wonky veg with Bry Rad - why are we so snobby when it comes to food shape, and we deliberated the winning joke of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - and you came up with some much better ones in our opinion.

You can listen back to the show for the next seven days by clicking here.
