On Air One to Three Christy Dehaven | 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Women Today listen again: Millie Blenkinsop-French, Dr Anna Machin and Kate Taylor

On the programme today:

- we were joined by Millie Blenkinsop-French, who shared her extraordinary story of being told that she had terminal, untreatable cancer just a few months back in 2018, to now being just days into 2019 and living with the extraordinary news that she is actually in remission. A fantastic example of someone who grabs life by the collar and lives for every second, she also told us about her passion for activism, about meeting her mum 'for the first time' at the age of 40, and about her love of Shirley Bassey, amongst other things!

- also today Christy spoke to anthropologist and TV presenter Dr Anna Machin alongside dating expert Kate Taylor from Match.com to find out how social media's rose tinted glasses could be blinding us to what true love really is;

- and we talked about the French author who has sparked an outcry by saying he would be “incapable of loving a woman aged 50" or above despite being 50 himself.
