Women Today listen again: Peter Mumford and Joy Gough; Fransis Hinds and Gill Qualtrough

On the programme today - we were joined in the studio by Peter Mumford and Joy Gough, multiple-award winning archers from the Isle of Man Archery Club, who came in to tell us about the club and their Ladies Only taster event. The event is Tuesday evening, Nov 13th, at 630pm at the Onchan Hub and is for ages 9 to 109. Email joyandpeter@manx.net to find out more, or visit their website  https://iomarchery.com/ and facebook page

Also today, we had the next in our series of interviews commemorating Remembrance;  today we heard from local woman Fransis Hinds and her daughter Gill Qualtrough, whose recent research into her family's history brought out the real impact of both World Wars on several generations of their family. The full length interview will be available on our podcast page soon.

Also, we looked at the research suggesting morning people are 50% less likely to get breast cancer; and hear from a 107 year old woman who has revealed the secret to a long and happy life.

If you missed today's programme you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days.

Tomorrow, we are live from the Aviation Museum from midday through to 5pm. Do hope you can join us!
