Women Today listen again: Rangers, raising money for animal charities and going to space school

- we also spoke with Joanne Hetherington, who is organising two forthcoming events in aid of a charity which saves, fosters and rehomes dogs...The events are: • 10am – 2pm Saturday 24 November, South Douglas Old Friends Association, Finch Road, Douglas; and • 11am – 1.30pm Saturday 1 December, St Patrick’s Church Hall, Patrick Street, Peel. There will be home made cakes, fabulous raffle prizes, crafts, gifts and a friendly welcome. Admission is £1 which includes refreshments and entry for children are free.
