Women Today listen again: Sophie Van Hooven, Aaron Riding, Gail Corrin and Ruth Solomon

On the programme today – we were joined in the studio by University College Isle of Man students Sophie Van Hooven and Aaron Riding, who told us all about their South African adventure on an internship programme; also by UCMIOM Higher Education Manager Gail Corrin who explained more about how internships work, who they are for and how interns can benefit;

- we also heard from remarkable Ruth Solomon, the 95 year old music teacher who released a book recently that was inspired by the chance discovery of a box of letters, letters that provided Ruth the opportunity to reflect back on what really has been ‘An Unusual Life’ (the title she has given to her memoirs, which can be purchased from all good local book stores)

- also today, where do you stand on giving kids cash instead of actual presents?  At what age should it start – and how much do you give....

- and we spoke to some Kind folk who are marking World Kindness Day by giving gifts to shoppers in Strand Street
