Women Today listen again: Tony Brown OBE on the Conister Rock

CONISTER ROCK SPECIAL

Christy was joined on the Conister Rock for  a very special programme today with former Chief Minister Tony Brown OBE, a man who began his working life before the age of 10, delivering the news to his Castetown neighbours on a humble paper round only, in later years, to become the news as a result of his extensive political career.

He shared wonderful stories from his childhood through to now, talked about his rise through the political ranks, about some of the people that inspired him throughout his life and enthused about the Island nation and its people, both of which he clearly cares about.

He also shared five pieces of music that mean something to him - either because they reminded him of a particular time in his life or someone that is important to him.

If you missed any part of today's programme, you can listen again here for the next 7 days - while looking at these wonderful photos of Tony and his friends and family :) And do check out the video clip below in which Tony talks about why Sir Charles Kerruish was such an inspiration to him.
