Darren Timson

Darren Timson is a freelance multimedia journalist at Manx Radio.
Born in South Africa, he moved to the Island at a young age and has been here ever since.

Darren studied Sports Journalism at Liverpool John Moores University; At 17 he voluntarily wrote Women's football match reports for newspapers.

He has been with Manx Radio since he graduated university in 2024 and is involved in both the news and sports departments.
Outside of work, Darren occasionally plays football, or watches whatever sport is on TV.
