Although Manx Radio includes pieces of the Manx Gaelic all the time, there weren't many longer pieces during last week - nothing, indeed, but another episode from Dracula by Bram Stoker in the translation into the Manx Gaelic that can be heard in 'Claare ny Gael'. 'Traa dy Liooar' and 'Kiaull as Cooish' weren't on because of Radio TT, 'Shiaght Laa' isn't on at the present time, and there wasn't a particular piece in the Manx Gaelic in 'Goll as Gaccan', and so for something extra we hear a recording made of Ned Maddrell in his house when he was 84 years of age (at the beginning he makes a mistake, saying that he was born in (18)87, but actually it was '77).
