AT YOUR SERVICE - 24 OCTOBER 2021

30 minutes | Sunday, 24 October 2021

Author, broadcaster and Head of Community Fundraising and Public Engagement at Christian Aid, Chine McDonald will be visiting the Island on Tuesday 26 October to host an evening at the Manx Museum talking about COP26 and the impact of our changing climate, and after a networking break, an 'in conversation' session will explore Chine's own experiences of racial injustice and inequality. The evening - at the Manx Museum in Kingswood Grove, Douglas - is on Tuesday 26 October, starting at 7pm - to get your FREE tickets, register with Eventbrite using this link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/.../tackling-cop26-climate...
And ahead of her visit here, Chine has sent us a reflection for Black History Month, and chosen some truly inspirational music - find them both in this week's programme.

Reverend Kelvin Woolmer is convinced that God has a sense of humour - see if you agree, as you listen to the story of his journey from soldier, to policeman and ultimately to Anglican Priest - and chaplain to London's 2012 Olympic Village.

Plus there's a great mix of music - from Charles Wesley, The Priests, and Nathaniel Bassey - and our usual notice board, too

Do please email me your notice board news, and your hymn choices for future programmes - my address is judithley@manxradio.com
