In 'Shiaght Laa' we find out a little about W W Gill and there's a reminiscence about the end of summer. James Harrison tries out another game in 'Jamys Jeheiney', recognising recordings by hearing nothing but the start of them. There's a little lesson given by Phil Gawne in 'Goll as Gaccan'. Then, seeing that 6th September was the birthday of Brian Stowell in the year 1936, he reads out part of Brian's book, 'Gaelg as Fishig : Skeeal my Vea' ('Manx and Physics : the Story of my Life'), and then we hear a recording of Brian himself. Our story in 'Claare ny Gael' is about a woman and her huge desire to paint, despite thinking that the end of the world is about to happen. And in 'Traa dy Liooar' we hear John Gell reading out another extract from 'Pargys Caillt' ('Paradise Lost').
