Phil Gawne leads us through another lesson from First Lessons in Manx in 'Goll as Gaccan'. This time there is only time enough for one chapter from the account written by George Kneale of The Voyage of Odin's Raven, which is read out for us by David Fisher.

Although Edmund Edward Fournier d'Albe was not an Irishman, and that he was not living in the country for many years, he took a great interest in the Celtic language and culture of Ireland. He was interested in Pan Celticism as well, and he did much to encourage people to take notice of, and to support, the Manx language. We hear a little about him in 'Claare ny Gael'.
