In 'Goll as Gaccan' Phil Gawne reads out for us a translation that's been made by a former student of the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh, Sophia Taylor, of a well-known, popular story by Beatrix Potter.

We don't have a story in 'Claare ny Gael' this time, but we hear about the fiddlers 'going on the unnysup', to get their 'deserving' for the Foolish Fortnight; there's a translation into Manx of a song associated with Hunting the Wren; and we look at a Christmas carol, and there's a suggestion that it was translated into Manx by Mona Douglas about 1960, Tra va ruggit Creest.
