In Goll as Gaccan Phil Gawne conducts us through more idioms and phrases from 'First Lessons in Manx'. Then there are two more chapters for us from the account written by George Kneale about 'Voyage of the Odin's Raven', and it's David Fisher who reads that out.

We hear some history in Manx in Claare ny Gael this time, about a ship called the 'Parkfield'. They were saying that she was the finest vessel that was ever built in the Island at the time she was launched, 8th January 1833. Unfortunately, there was but a short history of this vessel, which was broken on Conister early in the morning of 3rd February in the same year. Everyone was saved, but this was the last time that Sir William Hillary was a member of the Douglas lifeboat crew.
