At Your Service

Sunday, 28 August 2022 - 34 minutes

Earlier this month, St Paul's Church celebrated 200 years of service to                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       the community in Ramsey and the north of the Island.

Three days of special events including a flower festival and a display of fascinating photographs of old Ramsey, culminated in a great service of thanksgiving, led by the Lord Bishop, the Rt Rev'd Peter Eagles.

St Paul's parishioners were delighted to welcome back two former Vicars from the 1990's - Rev'd Canon David Foster, who was Vicar of St Paul's from 1987 to 1991 and Rev'd Peter Robinson who followed him - being Vicar of St Paul's from 1992 to 1999.
After the service, I caught up with Canon David and Rev'd Peter, together with his wife Rosi, and I invited them to share memories of their time on the Island, and to talk about what they've each been doing in the intervening 30 years!
And there's music, and notice board news too
Do please email me if you have items for the Notice Board (which is also repeated on Sundown each Sunday night from 9pm)
