Bob Carswell delivers a weekly programme of great Manx Gaelic broadcasting and entertainment. The poetry of William Gell leads us to a cave on the shore at Garwick and we hear of Elizabeth, Duchess of Gloucester, who was imprisoned in Peel Castle, but briefly escaped. The soldier who helped her met a sticky end. From here we go to All Saints, Kirk Lonan, and that leads us to reflect on the individual views of Rev John Quine as regards what was the origin of the cronks located round the Island. Our story in Manx is of a policeman who has a close shave.
