Bob Carswell delivers a weekly programme of great Manx Gaelic broadcasting and entertainment. In a timely fashion, William Gell's 1906 poem has brought us to St John's for the fair. However, he gives us a conundrum in referring to 'Glenfaba Bob', when none of the coroners at that time were named Robert at that time. He also gives us a glimpse of industrial history, with the fishing in Peel and the mining in Foxdale, before describing the beauty of the countryside, but also the destruction of a 20 or 30 tonne granite boulder - Godred Crovan's Stone - in St Mark's, broken up in the 1820s. Our story in Manx takes us to the finance industry, and some children who are perhaps strangely enthralled with their grandfather's tales of team leadership.
