Pippa Lovell has opened a new pop up restaurant in Foraging Vintners in Port Erin called "Versa" ; as far as we're aware, it's the first time a true foraging ethic has been implemented and celebrated in a Manx restaurant.

Pippa - who is also in the final shortlist to represent Britain with her foraged Manx dish in the 2019 San Pellegrino Young Chef of the World competition - is passionate about sustainability and responsible food sourcing and she herself sources most of the ingredients on her own menu from within walking distance of the restaurant. All other ingredients are at the very least locally sourced.

Christy spent a wonderful evening learning all about the art of foraging with the young Chef, who is also determined to share her knowledge and love of the practice with all who care to listen.
