People and Places - The Manx Whale & Dolphin Watch
Published on 15 Feb 2018
The Manx Whale & Dolphin Watch are a Manx charity which works to ensure the safeguarding of whales, dolphins and porpoises in the Irish Sea around the Isle of Man.
In February 2018 they staged their largest ever event to engage the public, putting on their MWDW Show in the Villa Marina, which attracted over 1,000 people per day to learn more about the sea life around them and what they can do to help.
Outreach and Education Manager at MWDW, Jen Adams, here speaks about the work of the MWDW, the Show, its success, the role which Culture Vannin played, and what we might do to help the important marine life all around us.
