The Manx Bard inauguration 2017 - 'Carrasdoo Men' by Esther Nelson, performed by Annie Kissack
Esther Nelson (1810–1843) is regarded by those who have read her as one of the greatest poets the Isle of Man has ever known.
T E Brown, the Manx National Poet spoke of her as "that true woman of genius."
Annie Kissack here performs one of her best-known poems.
This performance was delivered as a part of the event at Moorhouse Farm, Isle of Man, organised to announce the Manx Bard 2017.
