The Manx Bard inauguration 2017 - Cushag's 'The Ballafletcher Cup' performed by Bill Quine
A reading of a poem by one of the Isle of Man's best-loved poets, Josephine Kermode, better known as 'Cushag'.
This poem relates to a legend relating to Magnus Barelegs, a Norse King of Mann in the 11th Century.
'The Ballafletcher Cup' was first published in Cushag's book, 'Ellan Vannin,' in 1911.
This performance by Bill Quine was delivered as a part of the event at Moorhouse Farm, Isle of Man, organised to announce the Manx Bard 2017.
