Food and Drink Festival highlighted importance of local produce
More than 10,000 people played a part in supporting Manx food and drink producers this weekend.
The PokerStars sponsored Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival took place on Saturday and Sunday.
Government has thanked people for their support saying buying local benefits the local economy and environment by supporting jobs and reducing waste.
This year sustainability was featured in a new section sponsored by Zurich International – with traders prohibited from using certain single-use plastics.
Over the weekend 100kg of recycling was collected from stations dotted around the festival.
