Open invite to Island techies
The gauntlet’s been thrown down to the Island’s techies – with an invitation to take part in a Channel Islands hackathon.
Jersey’s Hackjsy is holding a weekend hackathon at the Digital Jersey Hub and says it would like to see Manx contestants creating digital solutions to be in with a chance of winning £1,500.
The event, over 36 hours from 8pm on Friday, March 18, is expected to attract developers, designers, project managers, gamers and egaming experts.
It’ll be judged by industry experts, and prizes include an Oculus Rift Development Kit – there are also travel subsidies for Manx residents.
