Marketing firm grows i gaming business in Jersey

Isle of Man marketing firm MM&C is taking its experience in the i-gaming sector to Jersey, with the opening of a new office in the Channel Island.

The firm's i-gaming client list includes Betinternet.com, BetStars.com, Sportmarket and Supervivo and it acts as PR agency for Manx Telecom, hosting provider for Paddy Power and PokerStars.

The Isle of Man competes with other offshore jurisdictions including Jersey, to provide a regulated home for i-gaming firms.

Promoting Jersey at the potential expense of gains in the Isle of Man is something MM&C's managing director Craig Wolstencroft has taken in his stride.

He said: “Jersey has a really strong proposition in the iGaming sector with significant advantages over rival jurisdictions."

He went on: "While the Isle of Man will always be our home, we see some fantastic opportunities in Jersey which is rapidly becoming recognised as a jurisdiction of choice for iGaming.”

Last year MM&C produced a multi-platform magazine showcasing the Isle of Man’s iGaming sector.

The Jersey team will be led by e-buisness director Mark McGuinness who has held senior marketing roles in the public and private sectors.
