High winds lifted bouncy castle into the sea with child inside
A child was rescued from the sea yesterday after being blown from the promenade on a bouncy castle at Douglas Carnival.
The child was playing when the high winds lifted the castle and the youngster into the water.
The boy was rescued by a member of the public and shortly after taken to Noble's as a precaution.
Val Rise was at the carnival and described the scene.
Douglas Borough Council has confirmed a full investigation is underway into why this happened.
