Douglas City Hall to close temporarily for royal visit

In person services unavailable until Thursday

Douglas City Hall will be shut for three days this week ahead of the royal visit.

The building is not open to the public today (18 March) and will remain closed until Thursday (21 March).

It's as council staff make preparations ahead of Her Majesty Queen Camilla's visit on Wednesday, 20 March.

She will officially declare the capital as a city in a short ceremony at the site, when a plaque will be unveiled.

Manx Radio has mapped out the road closures for Wednesday below.
