40-year-old appears in court
A Douglas man has admitted attacking a teenager, punching his partner in the face and being a passenger in a stolen car.
Forty-year-old Simon David Lomax, of Demesne Road, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted two counts of assault and one of allowing himself to be carried in a stolen car.
Lomax, and another man, attacked a 14-year-old boy, on Sydney Street in Douglas, in August - but the boy fought back and threw Lomax to the floor.
Less than two weeks later a man driving along the New Castletown Road recognised his van being driven in the opposite direction - inside were Lomax and another man.
The owner blocked their path with his car and called police but Lomax ran off before being arrested later.
On 6 March this year a passer-by spotted Lomax punching his girlfriend in the face as they argued in public.
Lomax was bailed and he'll next appear in court again on 21 April.
