Former chief minister appointed as advisor to pro-UK lobby group

Howard Quayle joins Together UK Foundation

The Island's former chief minister has been appointed as an advisor to a pro-union campaign group.

Howard Quayle has joined Arlene Foster, the former first minister of Northern Ireland, in the Together UK Foundation - which was formed in September last year.

The group will lobby decision makers, putting forward a positive case for the union of the United Kingdom.

Mr Quayle joins alongside Jersey's former chief minister, John Le Fondré who also worked with Arlene Foster at the British and Irish Council.

Sharing the news on social media, Foster, the ex-DUP leader, said they'd: "Got the band back together."
