Island celebrates Armed Forces Day

There'll be a parade down Douglas Promenade

It's Armed Forces Day on the Isle of Man - a day to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community.

There'll be a parade down Douglas Promenade getting underway from 2pm, followed by a celebratory gathering in the Villa Marina Gardens.

Colin Kelsey is an RAF Squadron Leader:

A Lancaster Bomber will also make a fly past and is estimated to pass over Douglas Head from the South East at 2:48pm.

Manx Radio understands the aircraft will make three passes before leaving to the West.
