Sentencing for health and safety breach
An Island sewage company is due to be sentenced today (Wednesday) for causing the death of a construction worker.
Tuke and Bell Limited admits failing to discharge duty in relation to health and safety at a site in Kirk Michael in May 2013.
Fifty-five year-old worker Gareth Sowden died from crush injuries after being trapped under a shipping container.
Tuke and Bell Limited will appear before Deemster Birkett at Douglas Courthouse.
JCK had been accused of the same offence but was cleared after a jury found them not guilty.
