Daniel Chan earns recognition with charity work

A King William’s College Governor and alumnus has been awarded an MBE for services to Charity and Young People.

Daniel Chan has been recognised in The King’s Birthday Honours this year for his role as Honorary Treasurer and Trustee of UK Youth.

Daniel’s knowledge and experience within finance helped both the development and growth of the charity.

Speaking about his achievement, Daniel said:

"I'm absolutely thrilled and hugely humbled to have received this recognition.

King William's College instilled in me the importance of ‘service’, and sowed the seeds for my current work and volunteering with charities, especially those supporting young people."
