Emjays announces Post Office partnership
A catering firm has announced it's teaming up with the Isle of Man Post Office to provide an enhanced Meals on Wheels service.
'Dining to your Door' will be provided by Emjays from March, after a trial run at several residential homes.
Meals will be prepared fresh with local ingredients at the company's Douglas depot, with deliveries carried out by standard postal vans.
Post Office chairman Julie Edge MHK hopes the service will 'bridge the gap' left by Age Isle of Man's loss of a government contract in January - and to have food delivered by a 'trusted, friendly face' will offer security and comfort for older residents.
