Muscular dystrophy sufferer taking on world's biggest half marathon

Michael and friends to tackle Great North Run today

A muscular dystrophy sufferer from the Isle of Man is taking part in the world’s biggest half marathon today (10 September).

Michael Eaton, and his four friends, will make up some of the 60,000 people tackling the Great North Run.

They’ve hoping to raise money for, and awareness of, the condition which he was diagnosed with in childhood and have already exceeded their fundraising target of £1,750 for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
