No guarantee flour milling will remain in Laxey

On-Island flour milling is 'vital' and will be addressed in DEFA's food security strategy.

That's from the Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture who has been quizzed on the topic in today's sitting of Tywnald.

She was asked if the historic industry will remain in Laxey by Garff MHK Daphne Caine, Clare Barber couldn't offer a guarantee.

But, she insisted that the input of stakeholders at a recent workshop was 'invaluable':
