Equestrian: Ingham shines again at Blenheim Palace

Manx competitor claims second at prestigious event

Manx competitor Yasmin Ingham has shone once again during the latest edition of the prestigious Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.

At the four-day event in Oxfordshire late last week (14-17 September) Ingham and her horse, Banzai du Loir, went on to finish second in the CCI4*-L class FEI competition.

Ingham's final score after four rounds of 24.5 was only bettered by her Great Britain teammate Rosalind Canter and horse Izilot Dhi (22) whilst fellow British competitor Harry Meade and horse Annaghmoore Valoner took third place (30.6).

It's another notable performance in an event which Ingham and Banzai du Loir lead from start to finish in 2021 to take victory.

It's another honour to add to what has already been a strong year for Ingham who was part of the Team GB squad which became FEI European Eventing Champions in France last month.

Among the Greeba-born athlete's other accolades this year include victory at the SAP-Cup in Aachen, Germany in July and being crowned 2022 Isle of Man Sportswoman of the Year in March.
