Island NFL super-fan invited to attend NFL draft

Frazer Campbell has been named Jets' international fan of the year

An NFL super-fan from the Island has been invited to the USA for a once-in-a-lifetime experience later this year.

Frazer Campbell - who lives in Peel and was born in Scotland - has been named as the New York Jet's first ever International Fan of the Year.

After being surprised with the news by Jets' tight end, Tyler Conklin, Frazer will head to the United States to attend the 2024 NFL Draft being held in Detroit.

A familiar face in Manx football with Michael United, he's also part of and helped grow the Gang Green UK Jets fan group.

Once at this year's draft, Campbell will also be in the running with 31 others to be named Ultimate International Fan of the Year.

This year marks the first time the NFL Fan of the Year contest has been extended to outside the USA with the other nominations hailing from the likes of Australia, Canada, China, Germany and Mexico.
