Royal win seven goal thriller

Braddan too strong for Town

Douglas Royal and Braddan have shown their credentials again in JCK Division Two.

Royal continued their impressive form and stayed top with a 4-3 victory over Ramsey Youth Centre on Saturday.

Doubles from Paul Whitley and John Quirk fired them to a thrilling victory, despite them playing around an hour with 10 men following the dismissal of Greg Hoskisson.

Braddan completed a league double over Castletown with style.

Conor Dempsey (two) (who was later sent-off), Andy Glover and Jamie Spicer were on target in a 4-0 success.

Foxdale maintained their promotion push with a 6-1 triumph at Malew.

Jack Smith (two), Aaron Costain, Charlie Harrison, Kevin Pullman and Scott Kermeen were the marksmen.

The in-form Stuart Morris grabbed a hat-trick as Marown ran out 5-2 winners over battling Governor’s Athletic.

Ashley Heginbotham notched the other two.

A Barry English hat-trick helped Pulrose to a 6-2 win at lowly Michael.

Owen Quayle and Emanuel Kaneen were among the other scorers.

Jack Kaighin and Steven Quayle found the net for the home side.

A goal in each half from Jeremy Lovett and Max Stokoe fired Gymns to a 2-0 win over Douglas and District.
