A vessel called Hero was wrecked at the mouth of Douglas Harbour, with three deaths, on 13th September 1873, but there's rather more to it than simply that stark tragedy. That's leavened by a range of music from the Celtic countries, and Grimms' Fairy-tales in a Manx translation.
