But Thomas says new airport director has 'big pile' of work to do

The Isle of Man Airport can 'cope' with its current staffing levels but not when multiple contingency plans are needed.

That’s the message from the infrastructure minister who says that’s when ‘things begin to break down’.

Ronaldsway has been criticised for repeated disruption – on Sunday an easyJet flight was reportedly blocked from flying to the Island because a member of Air Traffic Control was ill.
