Devon Watson

Devon Watson is standing for the Manx Labour Party in Douglas Central. 

He's a self-employed archaeologist, although says his core priority is his role as leader of Douglas City Council.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, reading, travelling, history, economics and social sciences.

Devon says: "Healthcare, affordable housing and childcare should not be this hard to access.

"Poverty isn’t something we should seek to mitigate and hide from sight, the government needs to guarantee pathway for all into economic security. 

"The island doesn’t have a lack of resources or talent on this island, and we need political ambition that meets the needs of this moment."
