Juan Christian

Juan is an independent candidate standing in Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

He's a project and relationship manager and fundraising manager in two local charities, as well as a self-employed plasterer, and this is his first time standing in a General Election.

He has five children, as well as two dogs called Mona and Geanie and eight cats called Bugsy, Leo, Fern, Spruce, Boo, Jelly, Pickles and Ruy.

In his spare time. he enjoys running, Manx history, music and art. 

Juan says: "My approach is rooted in achievable progress, making better what we already have, fixing what is holding us back, and moving forward where necessary to secure the future of the Isle of Man."

We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.

Juan says his three priorities are to work towards greater food and energy security, ensure Manx Care has the right support, leadership and accountability to deliver high-quality healthcare, and work with key departments to strengthen our heritage, creative and tourism sectors.
