Peter Washington
Peter is a member of the Manx Labour Party and he's standing in Douglas North.
He previously spent 21 years working as a paramedic in the UK and is now retired.
He's currently a Douglas City Councillor having represented the area since 2021, but this is his first time standing for the House of Keys.
He has three children and has lived on the island for almost 30 years, working as a Day Care Support Officer and volunteering with the RNLI.
Peter says: "Over the last five years, I have worked hard to represent local residents and currently serve as Chair of the Housing Committee.
"Having lived in social housing myself for much of my time on the Island, I know how important it is for the house you live in to feel like your home and for everyone to have a safe, secure place to call home.
"If I am elected as your MHK, I will continue to be a strong voice for Douglas North."
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
