Peter Washington
Peter is a member of the Manx Labour Party and he's standing in Douglas North.
He's represented the area on Douglas City Council since 2021, and previously spent 21 years working as a paramedic in the UK.
He's lived on the island for almost 30 years, working as a Day Care Support Officer and volunteering with the RNLI.
If elected, he says his priorities will be to 'stand up for fairness, improve housing, protect tenants’ rights, and make sure the voices of local people are heard'.
Peter says: "Over the last five years, I have worked hard to represent local residents and currently serve as Chair of the Housing Committee.
"Having lived in social housing myself for much of my time on the Island, I know how important it is for the house you live in to feel like your home and for everyone to have a safe, secure place to call home.
"If I am elected as your MHK, I will continue to be a strong voice for Douglas North."
