Previous political experience: Following my election as a commissioner, I have been the Chairman of Peel Commissioners from May 2010 to April 2011 and am currently lead member for finance as well as being on the committees for regeneration and Peel Heritage Trust. I have always had keen interest in economics, politics and world affairs. I also studied economics as part of my final year at Cambridge and completed an MBA in Business.
