Alfred is an independent candidate standing in Douglas South.

He's a funeral director, and his dad, Adrian, was the constituency's MHK for 25 years, from 1981-2006.

If elected, he says his priorities will include addressing the cost of living, housing, healthcare access and making the Island more appealing for young people.

Alfred says: "I don't claim to have all the answers, but I believe in listening first and working hard to get results.

"My promise is simple: I will be approachable, accessible, and I'll always put South Douglas and it's constituents first."
