Claire is standing as an independent candidate in Douglas South.

She is currently one of the constituency's MHKs as well as the Health and Social Care Minister, after first being elected in a by-election in 2020. 

Claire says:; "I am standing because I care deeply about Douglas South and about the future of our Island.

"I am standing because progress has been made, but there is more to do. 

"I am standing because I believe that practical experience, honesty about the scale of the challenge, and a determination to keep delivering will matter more than ever over the next five years."

If re-elected, she says her key priorities for the next administration will be maintaining strong and sustainable public finances, health and social care and public services, economic growth, affordability and housing, and improving the performance of the Isle of Man Government.
