Hugo is an independent candidate standing in the constituency of Douglas North.
He's a manager for part of the IT infrastructure for a multinational financial corporation.
He moved to the Island 20 years ago, and says he fell in love with its culture, its history and its people.
Hugo says he's standing to be a Member of the House of Keys because he wants to deliver real freedom, borders that work for the Island and an open, honest government that truly works for the Island and its communities.
